Am 30. September gingen Dario (aus Slowenien, Dokumentationsteam) und Serhii (aus Slowenien, Toolset-Entwicklungsteam) zum <\/i>

\n<\/a>. F\u00fcr Serhii war es das erste Mal bei einer WordPress-Veranstaltung. F\u00fcr Dario war es das erste Mal, dass er an einem Meetup teilnahm, obwohl er schon mehrere WordCamps besucht hat, darunter 2 WordCamps Europe.<\/i><\/p>\n

Ich hatte ein nettes Gespr\u00e4ch mit ihnen \u00fcber das Treffen und das ist, was sie sagten.<\/i><\/p>\n

Wie viele Personen waren dort? Warum ist Zagreb ein guter Ort f\u00fcr ein Meetup?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n


\n Dario<\/i>
\n<\/b>:<\/b> Es waren etwa 50 Personen, nur 5 Frauen. F\u00fcr ein Treffen war das eine sehr gute Zahl. Zagreb ist die Hauptstadt Kroatiens und viele IT-Unternehmen er\u00f6ffnen dort B\u00fcros, wie z.B. Google. Viele junge Menschen studieren dort an der Universit\u00e4t. Es zieht auch Menschen aus den Nachbarl\u00e4ndern an, z.B. aus Slowenien.<\/p>\n

Warum wollten Sie an dem Treffen teilnehmen?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n


\n Serhii<\/i>
\n<\/b>:<\/b> Ich hatte noch nie an einer solchen Veranstaltung teilgenommen und das Unternehmen ermutigt uns, dies zu tun. Au\u00dferdem hat Dario mich eingeladen (wir wohnen nur 20 Autominuten voneinander entfernt) und es war eine gute Gelegenheit f\u00fcr mich.<\/p>\n

\n Dario<\/i>
\n<\/b>:<\/b> Es gab bereits 2 WordCamps in Kroatien: WordCamp Rijeka (im Norden Kroatiens), wo ich einen Vortrag \u00fcber Benutzerfreundlichkeit gehalten habe, und das zweite, WordCamp Split, wo wir zusammen mit meinen Kollegen Ivan und Dominik einen Sponsorentisch hatten. Ich wollte auch an einem Meetup teilnehmen.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen einem Meetup und einem WordCamp?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n


\n Dario<\/i>
\n<\/b>:<\/b> Es ist ganz anders. Ein Treffen ist entspannter und freundlicher. Ein WordCamp erfordert Anmeldung, St\u00e4nde und mehr Organisation; ein Meetup ist in dieser Hinsicht m\u00fchelos. Jeder Anlass kann zu einem Treffen werden, auch wenn es nur damit beginnt, dass sich 2 oder 3 Leute irgendwo treffen, um \u00fcber WordPress zu diskutieren.<\/p>\n

Und wie w\u00fcrden Sie die ganze Erfahrung beschreiben?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n


\n Dario:<\/i>
\n<\/b> Ich mochte die Atmosph\u00e4re des Treffens. Sie dauerte 1,5 Stunden. und wir trafen uns danach noch f\u00fcr eine Stunde in einer Bar, was sehr gut war. Ich bin zufrieden mit meinem Vortrag („Wie man besser und effizienter schreibt“) und der Reaktion der Leute darauf. Um mich auf den Vortrag vorzubereiten, probe ich normalerweise viel zu Hause mit meiner Frau und auch kurz vor der Veranstaltung, aber in dieser Woche war ziemlich viel los, so dass ich nicht genug Zeit hatte. Kurz vor dem Treffen sagte ich zu Serhii: „Ich werde improvisieren“. Ich f\u00fchlte mich sicher, denn ich kannte das Thema ziemlich gut. Das Ergebnis war sehr gut, muss ich sagen. Ich habe gutes Feedback erhalten.<\/p>\n

Generell waren die Leute neugierig darauf, wie sie mit dem Schreiben von Texten beginnen k\u00f6nnen, z.B. einem Blog, wenn ihr Englisch nicht so gut ist. Meine Antwort war, dass \u00dcbung der beste Weg zum Lernen ist. Je mehr sie schreiben, desto besser werden sie. Und wenn sie jemanden haben, der die Sprache und das Schreiben gut\/besser beherrscht, sollten sie ihn das Geschriebene \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen lassen. Vieles kann man nat\u00fcrlich auch online finden und lernen.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n


\n Serhii<\/i>
\n<\/b>:<\/b> Ich mochte die Art und Weise, wie sie es organisiert haben. Es war eine gute Gelegenheit, etwas zu lernen, auch wenn ich ehrlich gesagt erwartet hatte, dass die Vortr\u00e4ge eher technisch sein w\u00fcrden. Sie konnten \u00fcberhaupt keinen Stress sp\u00fcren. Die Menschen waren sehr freundlich. Ich hatte auch das Gef\u00fchl, dass es f\u00fcr mich in Ordnung w\u00e4re, einen Vortrag zu halten, obwohl ich mich mit meinem Englisch noch nicht sehr sicher f\u00fchle. Nach dieser Erfahrung f\u00fchlten wir uns inspiriert, das erste Meetup in unserer Stadt zu organisieren.<\/p>\n
