Nous connaissons les difficult\u00e9s de la localisation \u2013 parce que nous les avons v\u00e9cues.<\/p>\n\n

Chez OnTheGoSystems, nous traduisons WPML en 23 langues. Pendant des ann\u00e9es, nous l’avons fait de la \u00ab bonne \u00bb mani\u00e8re : en engageant des traducteurs humains professionnels, en g\u00e9rant des fichiers de glossaire, en coordonnant les mises \u00e0 jour\u2026 et en d\u00e9pensant entre 1 000 $ et 8 000 $ \u00e0 chaque version. \u00c0 chaque fois, nous expliquions notre produit, notre terminologie et nos attentes encore et encore. <\/p>\n\n

Nous avons cherch\u00e9 des alternatives \u2013 crowdsourcing, flux de travail automatis\u00e9s, mod\u00e8les hybrides \u2013 mais rien ne r\u00e9solvait vraiment le probl\u00e8me. Les co\u00fbts restaient \u00e9lev\u00e9s, la coh\u00e9rence \u00e9tait fragile, et le contexte continuait de se perdre. <\/p>\n\n

Puis nous avons regard\u00e9 autour de nous dans l’\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me WordPress. Il s’av\u00e8re que nous n’\u00e9tions pas seuls. La plupart des extensions et th\u00e8mes ne sont que partiellement traduits, voire pas du tout. Et c’est un probl\u00e8me : pour les utilisateurs de sites WordPress non anglophones, les produits non localis\u00e9s se d\u00e9marquent \u2013 de mani\u00e8re n\u00e9gative. <\/p>\n\n

Alors, nous avons arr\u00eat\u00e9 de chercher une solution. Nous en avons construit une. <\/p>\n\n
