What You’ll Do

This role blends engineering, leadership, and business strategy. You won’t just manage a team—you’ll shape the product, scale the technology, and drive business growth. 

You will:

  • Understand our clients better than they understand themselves. Translate their pain points into clear product decisions that drive adoption.
  • Define and execute the business strategy. Map out the vision, identify competitive advantages, and execute plans that leverage our strengths.
  • Build and lead a high-performance team. Recruit and manage developers, linguists, and marketers, ensuring we have the right people to make this product a success.
  • Turn raw data into business insights. Use our unique sources of data to get insights that drive decision-making, optimize performance, and generate revenue.
  • Ensure a scalable, stable product. We’re building for mass-market adoption—this requires a strong technical foundation, automated processes, and data-driven optimizations.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a technical leader with business instincts—someone who has built software at scale, transitioned into leadership, and wants to build a real business, not just write code.

  • You’ve been a strong developer but moved beyond coding. You understand scalability, automation, and testing—but you also know that a great product solves real client problems.
  • You’ve scaled a software product or business. Maybe you were an early employee at a successful SaaS company, or you built and grew a tech startup. Either way, you know what it takes to go from idea to execution to revenue.
  • You’re a hands-on leader who hires and builds teams. You know how to attract, recruit, and mentor top technical and business talent, creating a team that executes at a high level.
  • You think strategically and execute relentlessly. You don’t just make technical decisions—you think about business growth, client adoption, and long-term competitive advantage.
  • You’re comfortable with AI and LLMs. You don’t need to be a researcher, but you understand how AI, machine translation, and data-driven models can be used to build an industry-leading product.
  • You thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment. Our team is global, and we move fast. You need to be self-driven, decisive, and adaptable.

Our Hiring Process

You’ll have 3-4 interviews that take between 30 to 90 minutes each. You’ll be talking with our HR, the team leader and members of the team you’re interviewing for.

For some roles, we’ll also ask for an assignment. If this assignment requires significant time, we’ll pay for your time doing it.

In these interviews, we know that you’re interviewing us, like we’re interviewing you. We welcome your questions and will answer them gladly.

At OnTheGoSystems, we keep things simple and straightforward. In most cases, our interview process is made up of three parts:

1. The Chat with the Recruiter

60 mins

During this informal video call, we’ll tell you more about the job and OnTheGoSystems (OTGS), and you can ask us anything you want.

2. The Technical Deep Dive

60-90 mins

This video call has a technical focus and gives you the opportunity to speak to potential teammates and see how you can contribute to the team. You can expect detailed questions about your experience and qualifications, and you may be asked to do a live assignment, depending on the position.

3. The Check-In with the HR Manager

30 mins

During the quick video call with our HR Manager, we’ll ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding the position you’re applying for. You can ask questions and clarify any doubts you may have. We’ll also cover any administrative details necessary to extend a final offer that meets your needs and expectations.
