Bio

Abdelwahab Mahmoud graduated in 2016 with a degree in Geoscience, where he developed a deep appreciation for data processing and subsurface exploration. Fascinated by how engineering enables us to uncover the Earth’s history and transform data into meaningful insights, he discovered his passion for software development. The ability to build tools that drive real change and improve everyday life led him to transition into the tech industry.

Throughout his career, Abdelwahab has gained experience across various domains, including data analysis, frontend development with React, mobile development, and backend engineering. He has also explored DevOps, enjoying the opportunity to contribute to software quality from multiple angles. Working with companies that emphasize ownership, client-first approaches, and high-quality product development has shaped his professional mindset.

At OTGS, he continues his mission of building impactful software that enhances people’s lives. As a non-native English speaker, he understands the challenges posed by language barriers and is passionate about creating solutions that make native-language translations more accessible.

Beyond work, Abdelwahab enjoys traveling and exploring new places, watching TV, and continuously learning new skills to expand his knowledge.
