Responsibilities

Ashraf is working as QA-Tester for the WPML plugin Basically I’m responsible for manual testing for bugs and features and writing automated tests. Testing involves identifying bugs/errors/defects in software but without correcting it. He reviews test cases then runs manual tests and executes Unit/Selenium tests. After testing, he submits a report to the developing team. He records the error description for failed test cases and creates or updates the relevant YouTrack ticket. When retesting issues, he tests the bug fixes and updates the test case status i.e pass, fail, need improvements.

Bio

Ashraf lives in Cairo, Egypt. His native language is Arabic. He graduated from the Academy of Computer Science and Information Technology. Before joining OTGS he worked as a web developer for 2 years.
