Bio

Raouf is a software engineer who graduated in 2016 with a degree in computer science. His early interest in technology led him to Linux system administration, where he wrote scripts and leveraged existing tools to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency. This practical foundation shaped his DevOps mentality—favoring reliability, automation, and continuous improvement over one-off fixes or manual workflows.

Over time, he transitioned into software engineering with a focus on systems thinking, process optimization, and quality assurance. He values environments that emphasize ownership, high standards, and a client-first approach to product development.

At OTGS, Raouf works to enhance both infrastructure and internal workflows, aiming to reduce friction for engineering teams and raise the overall quality and consistency of software delivery. His work centers on creating systems that are not only functional, but scalable and maintainable—tools that make developers’ lives easier and products more reliable and performant.

Interests

Raouf’s interests outside of work include video games, cooking, exploring new technologies, and trying to learn to play music. These hobbies reflect a curiosity-driven mindset and a constant desire to learn and experiment, whether in code or the kitchen.
