To use his technical knowledge and flair for design to create digital experiences that are captivating, intuitive, and beyond the ordinary.

Vuk, can you tell us a bit about your new role?

In my new role as a Full-Stack Developer, I’m responsible for creating, fixing, and implementing user interfaces for our products and websites.

What motivated you to take on this new challenge?

As someone with a passion for photography and visual arts, I was motivated to take on this new challenge due to my strong interest in web development and attention to detail. It was a logical move, as I now have the opportunity to fix bugs and issues I‘ve previously encountered during testing and to create visually appealing and interactive experiences for users.

How did your background help you transition into this role, and how does it contribute to your success in your current work?

Before transitioning into my current full-stack developer role, I had a background in networking and DevOps in general. I have been working as a full-stack developer for a considerable amount of time now, and I’ve had the opportunity to integrate my networking and DevOps experience with web development.

This blend of skills has allowed me to excel in both front-end and backend development, creating well-rounded and robust solutions.

Are there any challenges? What do you enjoy the most?

There are challenges in staying up-to-date with evolving web technologies, but I find these challenges stimulating. What I enjoy the most is the creative aspect of designing and coding user interfaces.

What do you think are the most important skills or qualities for the new role?

The most important skills or qualities for the role of a full-stack developer, besides feeling disturbed when something is visually unappealing or is misaligned, are proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

It’s also useful to have a good eye for design, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

What advice would you give to someone who is interested in pursuing a similar career path?

My advice to someone interested in pursuing a similar career path would be to continuously learn and explore new technologies. Practice coding regularly, build personal projects to showcase your skills, collaborate with others in the field, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
