At OnTheGoSystems, the company behind WPML, Toolset, and PTC, we’re looking for a hands-on, AI-native marketer who wants to take ownership of marketing and help shape how we do it.

AI is a core part of how we work. We’re looking for someone who already uses AI agents, automation, integrations, and structured workflows to get real marketing work done – and can show us what they’ve achieved with them.

This is also a technical role. We’ve built our own analytics, newsletter, and marketing automation systems, so you should be comfortable working with technical tools, setting up a local development environment, and using tools like Claude to help you navigate technical tasks.

You won’t be joining an established marketing team or following a fixed playbook. You’ll have the freedom to talk to our clients, understand our business, find the strongest opportunities, and decide what marketing should focus on next.

What You’ll Work On

Several areas currently need an owner:

  • SEO / AEO
  • Content and collaborations with partners, authors, and bloggers
  • Marketing to existing customers, including retention and expansion
  • Paid advertising
  • Client analytics
  • Other marketing opportunities you identify

You’ll work hands-on, from identifying an opportunity through execution, measurement, and improvement.

Your First Weeks

We don’t expect you to arrive with all the answers. We want you to understand the business first and then decide what should be done.

You’ll:

  • Learn our products, industry, competitors, and ecosystem.
  • Speak directly with customers to understand their needs and how they see our products.
  • Look at our data, existing activities, and opportunities.
  • Identify where marketing can have the biggest impact.
  • Build a concrete plan for the areas you propose to own and explain why.

What We’re Looking For

  • You already use AI agents, automation, and advanced AI workflows in your everyday work and can show us concrete results.
  • You’re hands-on and comfortable with the technical side of marketing.
  • You’re curious and take time to understand customers and the business before proposing solutions.
  • You can work across different areas of marketing and turn ideas into action.
  • You understand how marketing connects to business results.
  • You have experience marketing technical products, ideally software, SaaS, WordPress, or similar.
  • You work independently and can move things forward without detailed instructions.
  • You’re comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change and not everything is defined in advance.

Our Hiring Process

We run a clear and structured hiring process designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful of your time. Each step helps both you and us understand whether working together makes sense.

You’ll have 2–3 interviews, each lasting 60–90 minutes. You’ll speak with our recruiters, the team leader, and members of the team you’re interviewing for.

After successful interviews, we may invite you to a 14-day paid test, focused on real tasks, followed by signing an Independent Contractor agreement and a 3-month trial period if things go well. 

1. HR Interview

The first step is a call with our Recruiter.

We talk about your background, experience, and what you are looking for next. We also explain how we work at OnTheGoSystems and what the role involves. You will have time to ask questions.

2. Technical Interviews

If we continue, you will be invited to 1–2 technical interviews, each lasting 60–90 minutes.

You will speak with developers and team leaders from the team you may join. The focus is on real experience, problem-solving, and how you approach your work.

3. 14-Day Test and Trial

After successful technical interviews, we proceed with a 14-day paid test. You work on real tasks with your team leader and mentor to see if we are a good match. 


If this goes well, the next step is to sign an Independent Contractor agreement and proceed to a 3-month trial period. This allows both sides to see how working together feels in a real setup.

Our goal is that by the end of the process, you feel informed, respected, and excited to build meaningful work with us.
