Bio

Catalin’s a senior developer who’s been shipping code remotely for over a decade — working from Romania, Italy, and Argentina, and currently based in Misiones province, Argentina. He mostly lives in the PHP and JavaScript worlds, doing WPML compatibility work and tinkering with AI dev-agents that turn ticket queues into reviewed, test-backed merge requests.
Before that, he spent five years at Morningstar building Angular frontends as part of their Digital Innovation Team. Earlier gigs took him across some genuinely interesting territory: mining-data and sustainability platforms, a library management system, and even a live wildfire detection system for fire departments in Southern Italy.
A graduate of Politehnica University of Timișoara, he’s full-stack comfortable — Symfony, Angular, WordPress, Node — and clearly loves building things, plugins and side projects included.
Collaborators consistently rave about his clean, remarkably well-organized code, his rigour, and his knack for solving problems in creative, business-smart ways.
