Bio

Radu Ionut is a Senior WordPress Developer based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with a Software Engineering degree from Universitatea Politehnica Cluj. Over twelve years of freelance work, he has specialized in WordPress-based solutions, building custom plugins, themes, and full websites for clients including Dacia, Rolex, Pakmaya, and numerous Swiss and German firms in the watchmaking, financing, and manufacturing sectors. His expertise spans custom Gutenberg blocks, the WP REST API, WooCommerce, multisite setups, and performance optimization through caching, Redis, and query tuning, alongside strong PHP, MySQL, and modern frontend skills.
Earlier in his career, Radu co-founded the Momly P2P marketplace and the Drystorm Ruby on Rails developer productivity tool, taking part in a startup incubator in Trento, Italy. He also spent three and a half years as a SAP/ABAP developer at NTT DATA and msg Romania, contributing to enterprise systems used by Audi and VW. He values clean results, clear communication, and strong WordPress security expertise.
