How Our Remote Team Stays Active and Inspired (Part IX)

July 20, 2026

Each year, our remote team members use the Body and Mind Movement (BAMM) program to invest in an activity that supports their physical or mental well-being.

Some use BAMM to learn a new skill. Others rediscover hobbies they had forgotten about or make more time for the activities they already love. Whatever the goal, the program helps our team build healthy habits.

Here’s how some of our team members have used BAMM over the past year.

Pursuing Passions and Personal Growth

For some team members, BAMM became an opportunity to invest in creativity, learning, and personal interests outside of work.

Learning Piano, One Lesson at a Time

I’ve always wanted to learn an instrument since I was a kid. I already had a keyboard at home, but BAMM gave me the push I needed to finally take it seriously.

A year later, I’ve made incredible progress and even created a dedicated piano corner at home where I can practice regularly.

BAMM is a motivating program, especially when working remotely. It’s a perfect recipe for doing what you love.

Bringing Music Back Into Everyday Life

This year, I used my BAMM program to support a new hobby my husband and I recently picked up.

With our gramophone, we’ve been enjoying an amazing collection of vinyl records we inherited from previous generations — Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Dire Straits, and many more.

We’ve started going to vinyl fairs, trading records with friends, and hosting cozy vinyl evenings at home. It’s become such a wonderful addition to our everyday life — it truly makes us happy.

Wellbeing isn’t just about movement. It’s also about music, memories, and moments shared.

Creating Time to Recharge

Reading has always been one of the easiest ways for me to disconnect from work, relax, and recharge mentally.

Recently, I used BAMM to get books like Project Hail Mary, the Thursday Murder Club series, and the George Cross Mysteries.

Reading became part of my evening routine again, and I’ve noticed it helps me slow down, clear my mind, and create more intentional time away from screens.

The BAMM program encourages people to invest time in hobbies and activities that genuinely make them feel better.

Staying Active and Challenging Ourselves

Many team members used BAMM as motivation to move more, challenge themselves, and build healthier routines.

Falling in Love With Running

After realizing that avoiding exercise for a long time was taking its toll on my body, I decided to start running.

At first, I hated every second of it. But slowly, I literally fell in love with running. I run in nature around my home, and every run feels like a field trip.

My resting heart rate improved, my sleep is better, and my mind feels clearer. Last December, I even participated in a 5K Christmas run in a nearby village.

BAMM has had a positive impact on both my physical and mental well-being. Regular running has improved my cardiovascular health, helped me sleep better, increased my focus, and boosted my mood.

Rediscovering Tennis

I usually used BAMM for gym classes, but recently I decided to upgrade my tennis racket instead.

I used to play tennis as a kid, so it’s been great to rediscover the sport and get back on the court.

Working remotely means I spend a lot of time sitting, so having a physical activity I genuinely enjoy is incredibly important. I also have great fun improving my skills with a professional coach.

It is extremely important to have some serious physical activity every day, especially as I have a remote job and do not commute.

Back on the Climbing Wall

I use BAMM for indoor rock climbing, specifically bouldering.

Bouldering combines physical exercise with mental focus and problem-solving. Every climbing route is a different challenge that keeps both body and mind engaged.

Climbing helps me maintain a healthier routine, disconnect from a busy week, and keep a better work–life balance.

BAMM Program helps me maintain a healthier routine and a better work–life balance.

Different Goals, One Shared Intention

Whether it’s learning piano, enjoying music with family, making time to read, running through nature, returning to the tennis court, or tackling a climbing wall, our team continues to find unique ways to invest in their well-being.

The BAMM program isn’t about any one activity. It’s about helping people create space for the hobbies, habits, and experiences that help them stay healthy, motivated, and inspired.
